Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Commander Hossein Salami confirmed martyr; New acting Chief of Staff announced

WEB DESK: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has appointed acting Chief of Staff and Commander-in-Chief.

According to Iranian media reports, following the order of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, General Ahmad Vahidi has been appointed as the acting Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The report also states that General Habibollah Sayyari has been temporarily appointed as the Chief of Staff of the Iranian military.

It is noteworthy that Israel has carried out airstrikes on numerous sites within Iran, claiming to have damaged military targets and to have killed key Iranian figures.

Israel has also claimed to have martyred IRGC Commander Hussein Salami and Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff, during these attacks.

Subsequently, Iran’s official media confirmed the martyrdom of Commander Hussein Salami and Major General Mohammad Bagheri.
