Web Desk(May 19, 2018): In Iraq, final results of parliamentary elections have confirmed that the alliance led by Moqtada Sadr has triumphed.
Sadr’s Marching Towards Reform bloc has won fifty-four of the 329 seats in the parliament.
The Conquest Alliance is in the second place with forty-seven seats while the Victory Alliance bloc of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is in third place with forty-two seats.
Muqtada Sadr now faces the challenges of forming a governing coalition.
