Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Haq nominated Senator Ishaq Dar as Leader of the House in the Senate
According to the sources, Prime Minister Anwarul Haq nominated Senator Ishaq Dar as Leader of the House in the Senate, PPP has objected to the nomination of Ishaq Dar as Leader of the House, PPP senators said that if Shahbaz Sharif is not the prime minister, then some other senator should be the leader of the House instead of Ishaq Dar.
Senator Salim Mandviwala of Pakistan People’s Party has been appointed as the Government Chief Whip in the Senate, his position will be equal to the Minister of State.
It should be noted that the general elections have been announced in the country which will be held on February 8 and caretaker governments have been established in the center and provinces.
