Karachi: Former governor Sindh Ishrat Ul Ebad on Wednesday congratulated Jamat Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman over successful talks with Sindh government on the issue of local government act approved by the provincial government and 28-day sit-in for the rights of people of Karachi.
Former leader of MQM, who residing in Dubai, Ishrat Ul Ebad telephoned Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman and suggested that all the parties should move forward jointly for the wider interests of the province.
Ishrat Ul Ebad, who served as governor Sindh for a record period of 14 years, welcomed the Supreme Court of Pakistan yesterday verdict regarding local bodies act.
He in his telephonic conversation with the JI Karachi Chief appealed to the Sindh government to take an immediate major measures and decisions for the wider interests of the province.
