Islamabad: A local court of Islamabad has reserved a verdict on the physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and senator Azam Swat.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after arresting the PTI Senator Azam Swami produced him before a judicial magistrate duty judge Waqas Ahmed Raja.
Baber Awan appeared before the court as a counsel of Azam Swati.
The Investigation Officer (IO) of the case apprised the court that on some disputed tweets the PTI leader was arrested adding that a narrative is being constructed and an FIR has also already been launched earlier against him on the same these things.
The IO added that Azam Swati didn’t deny conducting tweet.
FIA Arrest Azam Swati Once Again Today
Earlier in the day, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Swati once again over the disputed tweets.
The FIA has arrested the PTI leader from his farm house in Chak Shahzad, Rawalpindi.
The PTI leaders who had held presser regarding torture on him and his alleged video, now has been arrested in the case registered against him on the disputed tweets.
PEMRA Imposes Ban On Azam Swati Speeches, Pressers, Statements, Tickers, Programs To Be Aired On News Channels
Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Sunday imposed ban on airing any speech, press conference or any programs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senator Azam Khan Swati.
The PEMRA in its press release said that Azam Swati has hurled accusations on the national institutions with out any evidences at the rally held in Rawalpindi yesterday.
The PEMRA has directed all the news and tv channels not to air any speech, press conferences and programs of the PTI senator Azam Khan Swati.

Airing of news channel program in which Azam Swati’s is a guest will also be banned as well as airing his statements and running of his tickers will be banned also.
As per the PEMRA press release on the violations of the PEMRA directives license of a tv channel will be suspended without any show cause notice.
