Islamabad: A local court of Islamabad on Tuesday on the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) petition ordered to block as many as 27 youtube channels belonging to journalists including journalist Mati Ullah Jan and Asad Tour.
Judicial magistrate Abbas Shah has issued an order comprising two pages on the petition of the FIA.
As per the court order, the FIA conducted an inquiry over anti state content being talecasted on these channels.
The court heard the both sides arguments and reviewed all the available record.
The court remarked that the matter comes under the PECA act and the action is punishable crime under the penal code of Pakistan.
