Islamabad: An election tribunal established on the complaint of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidates over rigging in the three constituencies of Islamabad, has sought affidavit from successful candidates of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
The election tribinal headed by Justice Tariq Mahmood Jehangiri heard the PTI candidates petitions.
The court imposed fine of Rs 20,000 to the PML-N candidate Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry over not submitting his reply in the court.
Justice Tariq Mahmood Jehangiri said that under the orders of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the court will have to pass the verdict till July 12.
He said that hearing of the case will be conducted on the daily basis.
