Islamabad United Sets 244-Run Target for Peshawar Zalmi

RAWALPINDI: In the fifth match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Islamabad United has set a target of 244 runs for Peshawar Zalmi to win.

The match is being played in Rawalpindi, where Islamabad United’s captain, Shadab Khan, won the toss and elected to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi.

Batting first, Islamabad United scored 243 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Sahibzada Farhan played a brilliant innings of 106 runs, completing his century off 49 balls, which included 13 fours and 4 sixes.

Colin Munro contributed 40 runs, while Salman Agha added 30 runs to the total.

For Peshawar Zalmi, Alzarri Joseph and Hussain Talat took two wickets each.

This is the second match for both teams in the tournament. Islamabad United currently has 2 points, while Peshawar Zalmi is still in search of their first win.

Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi lost their first match to Quetta Gladiators, while Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars in the opening match.
