Aleppo (July 16, 2018): Israel has carried out a missile strike on the positions of Syrian army near Nayrab airport in the north city of Aleppo.
According to Syrian air-force, the strikes were an attempt by Israel to support rebels in southern Syria, where Syrian government forces have been waging an offensive.
According to Israeli military, a drone was shot down, approaching from Syria. This was the second time in a week that a drone had entered Israel from Syria.
As per the international media, attack may have targeted warehouses where weapons belonging to Syrian army and Iranian militias were kept.
