Israel strikes Gaza, killing 60 as Russia, China, UK reject US-Israel aid proposal.

GAZA: Since midnight, Israeli forces have intensified their military operations in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of at least 60 Palestinians.

According to the medical sources, majority of these casualties, around 45, occurred in northern Gaza, including areas such as the Jabalia refugee camp.

The ongoing conflict has led to devastating human tolls, with Gaza’s Health Ministry reporting that over 52,908 Palestinians have been killed and 119,721 wounded since the start of the hostilities.

The Gaza Government Media Office has updated the death toll to over 61,700, noting that thousands of individuals are missing under rubble and are presumed dead.

International diplomatic efforts face challenges as Russia, China, and the United Kingdom have rejected a proposed US-Israeli aid distribution plan. Instead, they are calling on Israel to lift its two-month blockade on Gaza, emphasizing the need to ease humanitarian access.

US President Donald Trump, currently visiting Saudi Arabia, has stated that he is working to end the conflict swiftly. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has affirmed that there will be no halt to the military campaign, asserting that “there will be no situation where we stop the war.”

The conflict continues to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with ongoing casualties and international debates over aid and ceasefire prospects.
