Israeli airlines preparing to move aircraft in response to Iranian missile threats

WEB DESK: Israeli Transport Minister Myri Regev has indicated that Israeli airlines are making arrangements to transfer their aircraft abroad as a precaution against potential missile strikes from Iran.

Regev emphasized that, although no formal directives have been issued yet, the airlines are prepared to implement their contingency plans if needed.

Sources within Israeli aviation circles have reported that flight operations are currently proceeding as usual. A senior airline official recalled that during the Israel-Iran tensions in June of last year, there was a need to relocate some aircraft.

The official added that some planes were moved to destinations such as Cyprus and Athens, while others were stationed in Thailand, the U.S., and various European countries, maintaining a state of readiness for any escalation.
