Israeli army martyr 19 Palestinians in Gaza today as Israel launches new Gaza strikes

Occupied Al-Quds: The Israeli army has killed at least 19 Palestinians in areas across central Gaza since the early hours of Tuesday.

In total, at least 35 people have been killed in overnight Israeli strikes in central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp, az-Zawayda and the Maghazi refugee camps, according to an Al Jazeera correspondent.

Israel’s military reports said that shortages of tanks and ammunition as a result of its war on Gaza, according to a submission to Israel’s Supreme Court.

At least 38,713 people have been killed and 89,166 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7.

The death toll in Israel from the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139, and dozens of people are still held captive in Gaza.

Israel struck the southern and central Gaza Strip on Monday, following a weekend strike which killed scores of Palestinians who had sought shelter in a makeshift camp.

Two days after the Israeli strike turned a crowded swathe of Mawasi near the Mediterranean coast into a charred wasteland littered with burning cars and mangled bodies, displaced survivors said they had no idea where they should go next.

“Those moments as the ground shook underneath my feet and the dust and sand rose to the sky and I saw dismembered bodies – was like nothing I have seen in my life,” said Aya Mohammad, 30, a market seller in Mawasi, reached by mobile text message.

“Where to go is what everybody asks, and no one has the answer.”

Turkey has condemned Israel’s military for damaging Gaza’s only specialised cancer hospital after using it as a military base for months and says that those responsible will be “brought to justice in international courts”.
