RAMALLAH: Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians, including former prisoners, throughout the occupied West Bank on predawn Monday.
Israeli forces detained two Palestinians in the southern West Bank districts of Hebron and Bethlehem resctively. Former Palestinian prisoner Abed al-Rahman Mahmoud was arrested in the central West Bank district of Jerusalem.
The other four Palestinians were detained in the northern West Bank districts of Jenin and Salfit respectively.
According to Palestinian media, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
