Karachi (Sep 5, 2017): Sindh High Court on Tuesday rejected a petition against issuance of domicile/PRC of Sindh to people coming from other provinces.
A division bench headed by Justice Irfan Saadat Khan heard a petition filed by one Ghulam Akbar Jatoi against issuance of domiciles/PRCs to people coming from other provinces of the country.

During the course of hearing, Justice Irfan Saadat while addressing petitioner advised him to read the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) before filing such petition.
He observed that the nation was already suffering from different divisions on the basis of sects and ethnicity.
He added : “We needed to broaden our approach and thinking.”
The petitioner has pleaded the court to direct the provincial government not to issue domicile/PRC to people coming from other provinces. He had stated that not only people of other provinces were being issued domicile/PRC but they were also being given government jobs.
In this way, the local people are being discriminated against, he added.
