Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Munam Zafar Khan has said that the ministers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement were enjoying their ministries but they destroyed Karachi.
Addressing a presser today at Idara Nor-e-Haq, Munam Zafar Khan said that satisfaction can not be expressed on the overall situation of the city.
He hurled accusation on the Sindh government that it allocated Rs 70 million on the cleaning of Nullahs but they didn’t execute it.
Rain water from Lyari river, Gujjar nullah were reversing instead flowing towards the sea, he said.
He said that Gujjar nullah, Orangi nullah were overflowing while inter nullahs were cleaned in the our towns and they were used to of clearing water work from the pumps but where do we put water after removing it? he questioned.
He demanded the federal government to approved Rs 500 billion Karachi package and the provincial government provide every town Rs two billion so that development work could be executed in Karachi.
He said that Govenor Sindh Kamran Tessori is part of the MQM-P and he should talk to the federal government.
It is incompetency of the MQM-P and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) that they could not complete a vital K-IV water project, he said.
