Islamabad: Federal Minister for Energy and power and alternative resources Owais Leghari on Wednesday, today, said that it will not take long to provide relief to masses in prices of electricity.
Announcing the good news, the Federal Minister said that owing results in the talks with the International Power Producers (IPPs) the people will get relief.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has opposed a net monitoring policy on consumers using solar.
The PM has stopped receiving of additional tax approval in the federal cabinet meeting today.
The premier has instructed the Federal Minister for Energy and Power and Alternative resources Owais Leghari to review the net monitoring policy.
