WEB DESK: During the United Nations Security Council meeting, Palestinian envoy Riyad Mansour became emotional and began to cry as he spoke about the ongoing Israeli aggression and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
On Wednesday, Mansour vividly described the dire situation of the people in Gaza, especially children and mothers. He stated that dozens of children are dying from starvation, and mothers are holding the lifeless bodies of their children in their arms, apologizing to them. He questioned, “Can any human endure this pain?”
Riyad Mansour emphasized that fire and hunger are consuming Palestinian children, and the world remains a silent spectator.
He also mentioned, “I have grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so I understand what a child means to a family.” His powerful speech is rapidly circulating on social media and is shaking the conscience of the international community.
It is important to note that the Israeli attacks on Gaza continue unabated, and in this conflict, which has lasted over 17 months, the number of those martyred has exceeded 54,000.
