MULTAN: Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Chairman Jahagir Khan Tareen has resigned from the IPP Chairmanship and announced his separation from politics.
Jahangir Tareen said that he has decided to resigned as the Chairman of Istehkam-e- Pakistan Party, he expressed best wishes for the members of the Stabilization Pakistan Party.
He said that he thanked those who supported him in the elections, and congratulated his opponents on their success.
It should be noted that Jahangir Tareen had lost two seats in the National Assembly in the last general election, which include NA-149 and NA-155 Lodhran.
On the other hand, despite the seat adjustment from the PML-N, the Istehkaam-e- Pakistan Party could not achieve any significant success in the general elections.
