Jam Khan Shoro’s Interim Bail Extended Till Apr 30

KARACHI: Sindh High Court on Wednesday extended interim bail of the Sindh’s former local government minister Jam Khan Shoro till April 30 in illegal allotment and corruption case.

On this occasion, the former provincial minister appeared before the high court with his counsels.

As the hearing went outset, NAB’s investigation officer apprised the court that the Bureau’s Chairman Justice (Retd.) Javed Iqbal has given the approval to file references against Jam Khan Shoro and others.

“References will be filed very soon against Jam Khan and other suspects in Sindh High Court who have caused damage to the national exchequer”, maintained NAB officer.

To this, SHC judge-bench summoned a report from the Accountability Watchdogs on the subject.

The court then extended Jam Khan Shoro’s interim bail till April 30 due to the absence of the NAB prosecutor at the hearing session.

Earlier in the month of October 2018, NAB commenced inquiry onto former local government minister of Sindh Jam Khan Shoro against illegal possession of government land.
