Jamaica Test: Pakistan take 121-run lead against WI in first innings

KINGSTON: Pakistan all out for 407 runs in its first innings, taking a lead of 121-run against Caribbeans at Sabina Park on Tuesday.  

Pakistan scored 407 runs in its first innings in reply to West Indies’ 286 runs. Pakistan’s captain Misbah-ul-Haq played a vital role in the match as he scored 99 runs and remained not out. Whereas Babar Azam scored 72 runs and Yunus Khan added 58 runs to overall score before he was caught by Brathwaite off Gabriel at 185 runs. West Indies’ right-arm fast bowler Shannon Gabriel and Alzarri Joseph took three wickets each in the innings.

Caribbean had scored 286 runs in their first innings at Sabina Park. Roston Chase was their top scorer with 63 runs. Jason Holder had increased 57 runs in overall score of the team. Whereas Shane Dowrich went to pavilion on 56. Mohammad Amir became the most dangerous bowler for West Indies as he had grabbed six wickets in first innings.
