KARACHI: In a dramatic encounter, Jamshedpur police eliminated four gunmen involved in the kidnapping and killing of a young man in Karachi. The assailants had left the victim’s body on the Super Highway after the attack.
According to DIG Hyderabad Tariq Daryajoo, the sequence of events started when four heavily armed individuals abducted a young man along with his double-cabin vehicle near Jamali Bridge in Karachi. Following the murder, the suspects fled the scene with the vehicle.
The victim’s brother and father pursued the fleeing suspects in two separate vehicles, attempting to stop them on the Super Highway. During the pursuit, the suspects exchanged gunfire with the pursuers, resulting in injuries to the young man’s brother.
Receiving intelligence about the suspects’ location, Jamshedpur police established a roadblock. In the ensuing shootout, four suspects including gang leader Hider Mehro were killed.
