Rawalpindi:Jason Holder all-roundering performance helped Islamabad United clinched victory by 47 runs against Multan Sultans here at Rawalpindi cricket stadium today.
Holder played vital role today winning the match against Multan Dultans as he begged four wickets and scored 32 runs off just 14 balls.
Chasing the whopping target of 203 runs Rizwan-11 could not do well.
Multan Sultans even could not played the allotted 20 overs as it bowled out 8 balls before in 18.4 overs scoring 155 runs.
Skipper Rizwan made 38 runs, Muhammad Usman 31 runs and Iftakhar Ahmed scored 32 runs.
Besides that no other batsman was impressive for chasing the target.
Imad Wasim got two wickets whereas Naseem Shah, Riley Meredith, Shadab Khan, Muhammad Shahzad picked one wicket each.
Earlier Multan Sultans won the toss and opted to field first.
Islamabad United, despite having a pitch after heavy rains, bombarded 202 runs with a loss of six wickets against Multan Sultans in the allotted overs.
Sahibzada Farhan once again became the highest scorer today as he made 53 runs.
Colin Munro remained little bit unfortunate today as he lost his wickets just two runs short before his half century on 48 runs.

Hyder made 33 runs off 16 balls with three fours and two sixes.
Whereas Holder scored 32 runs on just 14 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes and remained unbeaten.
