Islamabad: Judicial Commission on Wednesday approved elevation of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Musarat Hilali to a Judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP).
After the elevation of Justice Musarat Halali to the SCP, the number of SC judges will rise to 16.
The SCP has capacity of having 17 judges.
It is pertinent to mention here that after Justice Ayesha A Malik, Musarat Halali is second woman judge who elevated to the SC judge.
