ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a significant increase in the prices of jet fuel, kerosene oil and light diesel oil, with rates rising by more than Rs20 per litre.
According to the revised prices, the rate of jet fuel has been increased by Rs26.95 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs376.76 per litre.
Kerosene oil has also become considerably more expensive, with its price going up by Rs22.97 per litre to Rs347.32 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of light diesel oil (LDO) has been raised by Rs25.23 per litre, taking its new rate to Rs304.78 per litre.
The latest adjustments represent a sharp increase in the prices of the three petroleum products.
