Lahore: Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has welcomed the Supreme Court (SC) verdict on the PTI and SIC petitions allowing PTI to be given special seats.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that now the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should go home after tendering their resignations.
In his statement on the social media site X, the JI Ameer Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the verdict also exposed duality of those parties who against the opinions of the people had occupied these seats illegally and were playing on the both side of the crease.
He demanded to form a judicial commission on basis of form 45 to award the NA and provincial assemblies seats to right holders.
