Lahore: Chief of Jamat-e- Islami Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman announced that we will give another strike call after the successful strike of today along with the business community.
Addresing a presser in the JI headquarter in Mansora Lahore, the JI Chief said that we don’t want temporary releif but we want constant releif from the government.
The JI Chief urged the government that it must have to implement and fulfill agreement with us.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the business community has played a vital role in making the today’s strike successful.
He stressed the government that it will have to end its perks and privileges adding that the people can’t carry burden of yearly Rs 25 to 26 billion .
He said that soon we will approach the supreme court once again over ending interest based system of the economy adding that owing to interests we can’t give up a quagmire of interests.
He said that the interests system has made country bankrupt.
The JI chief said that the business community has been looted on the name of tajir dost scheme as the country lacks flow of business these days owing to losing purchasing power of the people marred by inflation.
He said that the business community has been looted in a cruel way.
