Islamabad (July 21, 2017): Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq on Friday said that country’s future was linked to Panama leak’s decision, saying that the court decision should lead to purging the country of the menace of corruption.
Talking to media before the Panama Leaks case hearing at Supreme Court, the JI chief once again reiterated his party’s long standing demand of across the board accountability to rid the country of the menace of corruption.

He said that the Prime Minister got emotional over calls for accountability. He advised the Prime Minister to gather some courage and resign.
He hoped that Friday would brig some good news for Pakistan.
Haq said that the ‘royal’ family was given opportunities for three times to defend them and present evidence to clear charges against them.
He added that the SC judges were still waiting for evidence and documents from Sharif family to clear themselves of the charges.
The JI chief said that the case was also a test of the judiciary, adding that if the masses were dispensed with justice from court then decision would not be pronounced on roads and at Chowks.
