Karachi: Karachi chapter Chief of Jamat-e-Islami Munam Zafar Khan has said that they fully supported journalists community struggle and demands against the PECA act 2025.
The JI Karachi Chief said that approval of the PECA act 2025 is tantamount to strangulate journalism in the country and freedom of expression.
Munam Zafar Khan said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) also supported the PML-N in approval of the PECA act 2025.
He said that the Jamat-e-Islami believes in rule of law and constitution and supremacy of the democracy.
