Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that we have serious reservations on Delimitations, demarcation of towns, census and voter lists but we did our struggle for holding of LG polls which has not been held for two and half years.
Talking to media after casting his votes, he said that how much the LG polls can be delayed for the correction of unfair Delimitations , unjust census.
The JI leader alleged that Delimitations were held when the MQM-P was part of the government adding that the MQM-P also approved census.
At that time, the MQM P did’ not raise it’s voice against illegal Delimitations and census.
He lambasted on the MQM -P saying it (MQM -P) should had raised the issues related to LG polls when he joined with PDM government instead it just sold the mandate of Karachi.
