Karachi: The Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter has announced new date of staging sit-in in Karachi.
The JI Karachi will stage sit-in on Saturday August 3 at 5 pm in front of Governor House Sindh.
According to spokesman of the JI, the sit-in will commence from Khizra mosque at 5 pm Saturday.
The sit-in Karachi is continuation of its central sit-in at Muree road Rawalpindi and expressing solidarity with the central sit-in, the spokesman added.
The new date decision was taken in a meeting of the JI Karachi office bearers chaired by Karachi chapter chief Munam Zafar Khan, the spokesman apprised.
