JI postpones July 12 sit-in ,announces new date of July 26

Lahore: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Thursday (today) postponed its July 12 sit-in in Islamabad.

Addressing a presser at Mansoorah Lahore, the JI Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that they postponed the sit-in owing to Muharram Ul Haram.

Now, the sit-in will be held on July 26, he announced.

The JI Chief said that the rulers all tall claims have remained claims adding that the People have given a whopping sum of 42 billion dollar for IPP.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that this money recieved from the people through the electricity bills and taxes.

He announced that protests camps will be set up all around the country tomorrow.

He demanded that government if it thinks sit-in should not be staged then it should provide relief to the masses.
