JI set up action committee to gear up pressure on Sindh govt for early completion of Red Line BRT project

Karachi: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Munam Zafar Khan has said that the long delay in the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line has increased miseries of the people of Karachi.

Addressing a presser on the University road on Sunday, the JI Karachi Chief said that the projoect could not be completed even after passing of four years.

Munam Zafar also set up an action committee to provide justice to affected families while the committee will also contact to every stake holder to increase pressure on the Sindh government for the early completion of the BRT red line project.

Whereas he declared the project a mastery of corruption and the government failure.

He said that the BRT project in Punjab had been completed in 22 month on the other hand in Karachi the project still uncompleted as 46 months have passed.

He alleged the Sindh government, it has made Karachi a source of corruption only while he said that we will not tolerate further fraud with the citizens.

He said that we will make the Sindh government accountable.
