Karachi: Chief of Jamat Islami (JI”) Karachi, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has said that on the wish of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahda Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has stopped remaining results of the Local Bodies Elections which was held on January 15 this year to which the JI will stage sit-in at 10 places in Karachi.
Addressing a presser in Karachi at the JI headquarter Karachi Idar Nor-e-Haq, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has given last ultimatum adding that the the elections were held after so much struggles including scuffles for it.
The JI Ameer said that the protest is our democratic right and we will stage protest sit-in today at around ten places today.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the MQM-P and PPP are celeberating over an addition of 53 union councils but deceiving to Karachiites must be end while he demanded that as many as 150 to 200 union councils be added because an action of making people fool has happened so much.
The JI ameer said that we will expose the PPP and the MQM-P.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the ECP be fullfiled its constitutional duties and it must be respond why the remaining results of local bodies elections are being delayed.
