Jibran writes letter to police for blocking Mureed Abbass murderer passport, ID card, bank accounts

Karachi: Counsel of complainant of deceased former Abbtakk news anchor Mureed Abbass, who war murdered in April 2019, has written a letter to police officials for blocking absconder accused Adil Zaman passport, Identity card and bank accounts.

The counsel Jibran Nasir has written the letter to Inspector General (IG) Sindh and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South in which he apprised that in July 9, 2019 an accused Atif Zaman had called Mureed Abbass at his home adding as the accused and the news anchor had business relations with each other.

According to him, Mureed Abbass had asked for returning his money on which the accused opened fire on the later.

As many as four years have been passed and proscribed obsconder roaming freely in open, he said.

Jibran Nasir said that the use of social media by the accused is a joke with the law.
