Islamabad (July 7, 2017): The six-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) tasked with probing the business dealings of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons abroad is heading towards conclusion.
According to the details the JIT was in the process of winding up the probe by next week, after which it would finish compiling the final investigation report by the second week of July before it was submitted to the apex court by the July 10 deadline.
The JIT meeting on Thursday reviewed the statements of PM Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, sons Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz, Captain Safdar , National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
Sources said that the JIT expedite his work to complete investigation before the deadline. The final report will be submitted in the SC on July 10. The sources said that the JIT made Hudaibiya Paper Mills case, the part of its investigation report.
