LAHORE: The Joint Investigation Team formed to probe into controversial Sahiwal shooting by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) will present its report before Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar today.
Moreover, the wounded children including Umair and Muneeba were shifted to hom from hospital.
Sources said that the report will suggest strict punishments against the responsible persons.
Earlier on Tuesday, a high-level meeting was chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar reviewed the law and order situation in the province and also banned the transfer and posting.
The meeting lasted more than three hours which has reviewed the law and order situation and the basic facilities being provided to the people.
Talking on the occasion, CM Punjab expressed regret on Sahiwal incident and said that his government stands with the family of Khalil as Punjab government will look after the deceased family with great care.
He also directed the continuation of ongoing operation against land mafia and also banned the transfer and posting across the province.
Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed for ‘exemplary punishment’ to those found guilty in Sahiwal incident after returning from Qatar. He also promised to review entire structure of Punjab Police and commencement of reforms.
