ISLAMABAD: In the second round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier, Jordan defeat Pakistan at Jinnah Sports Ground Islamabad on Thursday.
The match between Pakistan and Jordan at the Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad started at lightning speed. In the second minute, Jordan’s Musa Al-Tmari gave his team the lead.
In the ninth minute of the match, Jordan received a penalty kick due to a foul by a Pakistani defender, on which Ali Alwan made Jordan’s lead 0-2.
In the second half, the Pakistani team’s defense was relatively better and the strikers also attacked to equalize the goal but did not succeed.
In the 86th minute of the match, Jordan’s Musa Al-Altmari got another chance and scored his second and the team’s third goal.
