Islamabad: ATC court has granted Journalist Matiullah Jan’s bail.
Journalist Matiullah Jan, who was arrested two days ago from Islamabad, was produced in the Anti-Terrorism Court. Matiullah Jan was produced before ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra.
During the hearing, Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra said give a copy of the order of the Islamabad High Court, where is Mandamus? The Investigating Officer should place this order on record, sending Matiullah Jan to jail on judicial remand.
Lawyer said that we have filed a bail application and heard it today, to which the learned judge said that your bail application consists of 7 pages.
Prosecutor Raja Naveed said that my request is to cancel the bail of Matiullah Jan, however, the court granted the bail request of Matiullah Jan and ordered him to submit a bond of 10 thousand rupees.
