Lahore: The journalists community on Thursday decided to stage protest outside the Punjab Assembly by tying black strip on their shoulders and boycotting the budget session over the defamation act.
President of Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari said that we don’t accept the defamation act.
He said that the defamation law is a black law against the expressing of views freely.
He apprised that we will boycott the coverage of budget session and will also hold protest on the assembly stairs.
