LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) invited the 26 short listed players for the training camp in connection with the Junior Hockey World Cup 2016.
The training camp will be held at Hockey Stadium Johar Town from November12 and final squad will be announced after conclusion of the camp.
Former Olympian and Head Coach of junior hockey team Tahir Zaman will be the camp commandant. Junior Hockey Cup 2016 will be played in India from December 8 to 18.
Shortlisted junior players:
Goalkeepers: Ali Raza, Ali Umair, Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
Full-backs: Atif Mushtaq, Hussain Anwar, Mubashar Ali, Zahidullah.
Half-backs: Abu Bakar, Muhammad Faizan, Junaid Kamal, Muhammad Adnan, Ammad Shakeel.
Forwards: Shan Irshad, Azfar Yaqoob, Muhammad Dilber, Atiq Arshad, Bilal Qadir, Mohsin Sabir, Sohail Riaz, Samiullah, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Naveed, Fahadullah Khan, Umar Hamdi.
