Islamabad: the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Judge, Justice Baber Sattar in his another letter to Chief Justice IHC Amir Farooq revealed that he was given message in the audio leaks that to return back from the scrutiny of procedure of surveillance.
Justice Baber Sattar apprised that he receive message from a top official of security establishment.
Justice Baber Sattar pointed out the intervention in the judiciary.Judge Baber Sattar penned that he didn’t heed to such type of threatening tactics.
He said that he didn’t think such type of messages have risk of harming the justice process.
The ill-intention campaign regarding Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) cases has focus on effecting the court process found to be a threatening tactics.
The content of the letter also apprised that the court issued notices to intelligence agencies and investigation agencies in the audio leaks.
Respective ministries, regulatory bodies, ISI, IB and FIA were given noticed, it added. The court also issued notices to regulatory bodies of PEMRA and PTA.
