Islamabad: The Judicial Commission meeting on Tuesday, today constituted a seven-member constitutional bench while Justice Amin Uddin Khan will head the bench, sources said.
Justice Ayesha Malik included in the constitutional bench from Punjab while Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi and Jamal Mandokhel also made part of the bench.
Besides that Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Musarat Hilali also included in the bench.
The judicial commission first meeting after the 26th constitutional amendment and reshaping of judicial commission was concluded today in the chair of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.
The meeting discussed establishment of secretariat of the judicial commission.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Ameen Uddin attended the meeting.
Besides that Federal Minister for Law and human rights Azam Nazeer Tarrar, attorney general Mansoor Usman Awan, representative of bar council Akhtar Hussain also participated in the huddle.
Moreover Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Farooq H Nayik, Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, opposition leader in the National Assembly Umar Ayub, Shibli Faraz and woman MNA Roshan Khursheed also were in attendance.
