KARACHI: The Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman has demanded fresh free and fair election to assure respect of people’s mandate.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman while addressing to a public rally in Karachi, has rejected the result of February 8, 2024 general elections and said that a drama was staged in the polls to fill the assemblies with those who were fighting for power.
The JUI-F chief said that some institution thought that the JUI-F will get tired and would not be able to protest against election rigging, he said that our struggle is not for one day or one month, this will continue unless they achieve their goal.
Fazlur Rehman said that the assemblies formed after Feb 8 election are fake, Sindh assembly including President House were also sold, he said those people sitting at the assemblies have made Pakistan a slave of America and democracy have removed from the country
