JUI-F Chief Calls for Unified Muslim Strategy Against Israeli Aggression

ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), has called on the Muslim world to forge a unified strategy in response to Israeli aggression, emphasizing the urgent need to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian brothers.

Speaking at the All-Parties Conference (APC) chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari, Rehman advocated for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and its formal recognition by the United Nations. The conference, which commemorated one year since the Israeli offensive on Gaza, featured passionate speeches from various political leaders in Pakistan.

Rehman criticized the fragmentation within the Muslim Ummah regarding the ongoing crisis in Gaza, stressing that addressing these challenges is a collective responsibility. He noted that recent events involving Hamas have shifted the global discourse on Israel’s recognition.

The JUI-F chief urged an end to discussions centered around a two-state solution or the return to the 1967 borders, calling for a more resolute approach. While denouncing the continued violence in Gaza, he implored Muslim leaders to take concrete actions in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
