DOHA: The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, along with his delegation, arrived in Qatar, where they met with leaders of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.
According to the JUI-F spokesperson, the delegation held discussions with the Hamas Shura Council, during which they exchanged views on the latest situation in Gaza and Palestine.
The spokesperson stated that Maulana Fazlur Rehman assured the Hamas leaders of full cooperation in all matters.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed that Palestine is an independent state and that Israeli occupation cannot be supported. He reaffirmed his support for the Palestinian people’s struggle for the freedom of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine.
The head of Hamas’s Shura Council, Abu Omar, stated that Maulana Fazlur Rehman and JUI-F are fulfilling their duty on behalf of the Muslim Ummah.
Abu Omar appealed for cooperation from the Pakistani people and the Muslim Ummah in the construction of homes, provision of tents, medicines, and support for Sehri and Iftar.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on the Pakistani people to extend full support to their Palestinian brothers.
