KARACHI: K-Electric has issued a strong warning urging the public to avoid flying kites near power lines due to the serious risks it poses.
K-electric emphasized that kite flying in proximity to power lines can lead to severe accidents, including electrocution, power outages, and damage to electrical infrastructure.
The company further highlighted that flying kites with metallic strings is particularly dangerous as it increases the likelihood of contact with live wires, which can result in fatal accidents. K-Electric has urged residents to remain vigilant and prioritize safety by keeping a safe distance from power lines when engaging in outdoor activities.
K-Electric also appealed to parents and guardians to ensure that children and young adults are aware of the dangers associated with kite flying near power lines.
