Kabul: Operation of Afghan Forces, 67 Insurgents Killed

Kabul (September 14, 2018): At least 67 insurgents have been killed in the past 24 hours in operations launched by Afghan forces.

According to details, 67 insurgents have been killed in total 12 joint offensive and clearing operations, launched in multiple provinces including Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Logar, Kandahar, Badghis, Faryab, Baghlan, Balkh and Helmand.  According to Afghan media, along with the Afghan Air Force and Afghan National Defense and Security Force, commando forces were also involved in the operations.

According to Afghan Ministry of Defense, in the last 24 hours, ANDSF launched 12 joint offensive and clearing pre-planned operations and the Commando forces did 114 special tasks and the AAF did 12 strikes on insurgents strongholds in different parts of the country.As a result of these operations, 67 insurgents have been killed, while, 28 of them have been wounded in these operations. A number of insurgent’s weapons and their hide-out have also been destroyed in these operations.
