Kamal directs alternative of Indian medicines, to be alert at burns centers, blood banks, health services

Islamabad: Federal Minister for health Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that India is an untrustable enemy hence we have to be prepared for tackling every untoward situation urging the health ministry and its subordinate organizations to be on high alert.

The Federal Minister for health on Thursday, today, chaired a high level meeting at National Health Institute while the purposeof the meeting to review strategy for tackling emergency situation emitted out of the Indian aggression on the country.

A national health emergency center has been established in the National Institute of health, he apprised.

Syed Mustafa Kamal said that Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) to ensure alternative of Indian imported medicines.

The Minister appealed the provinces to allocate additional beds in the emergency situation in the hospitals.

He directed the all the provinces to keep in touch with quick response centers 24/7 basis.

He also instructed the federal government hospitals to allocate additional beds in the emergency situation.

He directed the all the hospitals to ensure ample stock of blood and medicines while medical servives to Pakistan army and other forces be ensured on preferential basis to be fullfiled.

He apprised that the Ministry of health is overseeing strict monitoring of the situation.
