Geneva: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Friday, today, met with World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Dr. Hanan Balkhi.
The meeting focused on regional health priorities, challenges, and enhancing cooperation.
Both sides agreed to strengthen existing collaboration, expand partnership in modernizing the health sector, and promote telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and effective regulatory frameworks.

The Federal Minister apprised that the purpose of the regulatory frame work is to make sure providing people better, impressive and timely services.
Mustafa Kamal said that the WHO services in the health secotor is praiseworthy.
He said that Pakistan determined to make a better health system while cooperating with the world institutions.
Dr. Hanan Balkhi appreciated Pakistan’s efforts and assured full support.
