Karachi (June 10, 2017): As many as 42 suspects were rounded up by the law enforcement agencies during overnight targeted operations in different part of the metropolis Karachi.
According to the details, police launched combing operation in Shah Faisal Colony and detained at least 22 suspects. The police claimed to have recovered weapons and motorcycle from the suspects.
Whereas Darakhshan police conducted targeted operations in Bukhari Commercial, Khayaban-e-Shamsheer and Khayaban-e-Shujaat and apprehended 10 accused, including two drug peddlers and six women facilitators.
Police rounded up Ghulam Haide, a gangster and five other suspects in Korangi. While two accused managed to escape during the raids, said the police officials.
On the other hand, citizens overcome a dacoit when he was looting a shopkeeper near Yousuf Plaza Block 6. The angry mob handed over the dacoit to police after thrashing him. Police said one of his accomplice escaped from the scene when citizens caught him.
While two illegal Afghan refugees were arrested in Jauharabad, area of Karachi tonight.
